Hi, long time no post. Anyway, I'm putting together the Battlestations PDN kits I got from MJ back in 2014. They are a twin screw, and the speed of the original was 18mph. I'm looking for some help with picking out drive parts. I've never built a model boat with power before. This laser cut kit is something to behold, fits together beautifully. Any help would be much appreciated. Estavi start.jpg

There are lots of options out there. Battler's connection has their own gearboxes, the traxxas villain EX gearboxes with the metal plate work well, or roll your own.

Looks like I can fit about a 2" prop.

I'm not familiar with Battlestations speed rules. Will you be doing a scale 18 knots? If so, you don't need uber power. Check out the "Vac-U-Tug/Tow" motors and props at this link for some viable propulsion options.

Under that column the rules say 38 sec. Thanks for the link, that's a cool site.
