Figured since we where setting water lines and weights for the ships we did my Zboat to. The Duca is a strike kit supposed to be a weekend build. I like to see if anyone else has built one of these. maybe what there layout looks like inside for ideas same goes for the Zboat. I’m not in a rush just ideas. The Z boat was started like 10years ago I was in my 20ties not sure what I was up to but it’s been in the attic since. Lots of marker marks lol

I have one duca built. Nasty boat with quad half unit Stern's. I think I put pictures in one of the duca threads and some 3d printed bits in resources. Keep duca light. When I went from normal to 3d printed guns and dropped a ton of weight she ran much better

I see there no water channeling. How did the pump perform? What size battery did you run?

https://photos.app.goo.gl/4QuraCSjk9qBrHt56 not the best pictures, it is disassembled for winter maintenance, but you can see some of the layout

I did water channeling with closed cell self adhesive 1/4" foam. worked well

Been a heck of a time since an update. Took a bit to cut the hull windows. Working on mounting the guns so far so good space is a bit limited. 765A4107-95B4-451E-869E-646B9FCAA7E3.jpeg 30EE46D8-04CE-48C3-B316-046E7201E627.jpeg 8C75823B-8E9B-4A15-9D48-2BCDC8886DE2.jpeg

Yes duel bows but she will also have duel sterns also. I couldn’t make my mind up lol so I will be able to have the option for both.

So for example you could split 2 units into 4x 1/2 units?

Stick with just dual sterns, bow guns aren’t nearly as effective and might give stability problems

Ah good point about stability. With the prop shafts gonna be tough squeezing duel into the stern

I strongly recommend weighing her with everything inside at this point prior to doing anymore work. Make sure your dry CG is at least in the neighborhood of the center of buoyancy for the hull. Make sure you meet your weight target
