So tell me, which is faster, typing in 0.10in, or pulling up the calculator, plugging in the numbers and conversion factor, then copying the measurement and pasting it into my model?
My CAD time is precious you know...

no, faster to type in 2.54 because i know that there are roughly 25.4mm in an inch and you just spec'd 1/10 of an inch.

also, how many times do you type decimal places? think how much time you'd save NOT typing decimal points by working in a more granular unit system

Granular indeed. You need to use many more digits to get the same distance in Imperial that a decimal point seems petty.

You need to stop thinking in imperial. Go with 2mm or 3mm and call it good. ;)

thats not even a common imperial fractional dimension, you're already halfway in metric land, just take the last step

Who says you have to use perfect fractional values? Besides, Fusion doesn't take fractions so what's your point?

Was not aware of that. I use decimals mostly anyways, so not that big a deal whether it takes them or not, but nice to know. :)
