If all goes well, I will have a gearing at Nats this year (and maybe a few kits)

Holding off for a few, once the gearing is done and tested they will both be listed for "official" sale. The local group in Georgia is very good about allowing the Fletchers to run as 1.5, but 25 bb's is not a lot of fun to drive a long distance.
We expect there to be more "destroyer/cruiser" filler battles while the large BB's patch between their battles. More like a nascar event "turn and burn" on refilling gas and bb's.
Once they are ready to sell, will post a link on this site

Ok, but what I wanted to know is if the SS can be bought separately. That's what I'm really after.

I will imagine so, if for no other reason than just normal abuse from the high hitting battleship guns :)
Will see if everything will be priced out separate.

I've considered building a small one to make stuff for myself, but never went and actually built one yet. Maybe I should.

Are these kits still being tested?

This would be a great starter kit for me to mess around with. Built some Deep V nitros in the past. way back in the past....

Lately I've been building and programming stuff like this http://www.lynxmotion.com/c-117-phoenix.aspx

Both Panzer and myself are building Fletchers but have not completed them due to getting our larger ships built. I hope to have mine done for the September 16th battle in Saranac. They are easy builds with great instructions and will get you on the water fast.
You will most likely desire a larger boat with more firepower once you get the hang of the Fletcher though. Just fair warning. You're close to Mark Roe who can help you with more difficult builds so don't be hesitant to contact him for assistance. PM myself or any of the other G.L.A.S. guys for more info since we're close by.

Price point for the kit? Also a contact? There isnt a "buy now" button on the page. I can build this in my room on the boat due to its size/ease of construction.

Narrowed it down to one of the Gearings or a Zboat from bc. These should build faster............

If I can ever get my hands on one hahahaha
