Wish I was close enough to take you up on that, Clark. Heh. After we do an "orderly shutdown" at work this morning, I'll be heading home to get back to work on a sailboat which MUST be ready to sail by Friday. Although I appreciate having time to get the sailboat done, I do not like taking a hit to the paycheck to accomplish it.
We had to go in to sign our furlough papers this morning. Got there and was told, 'Oh, all nurses got declared essential personnel. You'll work, but don't get paid until Congress fixes it.' I'd rather be at home working for free than taking care of snotty kids for free. So the weeklong build session is off
