Fiberglass hull question.

    I haven't tried skinning a cat. I suspect that given their tendency to move when you want them to stay still that they would in fact end up stuck to something other than balsa before the adhesive had a chance to set up. Also, gaining a good seal against the fur (or skin if you go with one of those hairless ones) might be difficult. I suspect the key here would be a sedative that would knock the feline out for a period of time.
    On the plus side a cat already possesses ribs that cover less than 15% of OAL so no cutting required.

    Basically just two. CA glue or contact adhesive. I use E6000 but when sheeting, use it as a contact adhesive (coat both surfaces, let tack, then press together).

    +1 for Weldwood contact cement.

    I would go with anything Steve says, he has built much more than any of us.

    I will definitely be looking into the contact adhesive option. I'm not a fan of CA glue. To easy to break.

    The standard is weldwood.... I would suggest you use that.
