Personally I thought Battlestations was the perfect PDN venue, I think its a great chance to build a bunch of early and pre WW1 ships. Some real lookers in there

Feel free to add to the list Nick. This is an exercise in finding out what the market demands. I have the basic ships I want so these are for everyone else. Of course I will have to build a demonstration version of each of them but that's not for me per say, lol.

I've always been fond of the Swiftsure class of pre-dreads.

I agree. Also they can get quite heavy. I will offer any hull I do that is over 36" as a two piece however so as to give the buyer the option of not paying the markup for oversize shipping. They can be joined permanently by the builder quite easily.

I toyed with the idea of using my P.E. as a plug but changed my mind as the shafts and bottom are already done so it will get built to battle. But it would be easy to make a plug for it if needed.

Instead of Lord Nelson, if you built King Edward VII that could also double as the Japanese Katori class pre-dreadnoughts.

Now were getting somewhere. That is exactly what I want. Something that can be built into different ships depending on the super. Thank you sir I will add it to the list.

I have a nice DELFTship model of the Borodino, in all her ugly Russian glory, if you're interested. The French have the massive ram bows of their Massena class, the British have their traditional Wobbly Eight (King Edward VII class), and the Americans get their experimental eights-over-thirteens of the Kearsarge class. But none of them are quite as uniquely... ugly... as the Borodino class.

I’m kind of partial to the Brandenburg class battleships. I think it may be the only pdn with three main turrets.two of them even served with the ottoman navy.

Personally, I'd love a SoDak. It will fit in my suburban (barely). :)

Arizona/Pennsylvania would be lovely, too, although it's only a 2 ship class.

I think another good candidate would be the Queen Elizabeth class. Good size ship class, decent firepower.

Got the bulk of the cleanup done today. One step closer to the building getting here.
