I did use the radial arm saw for all the cross cuts and ripping all the boards to a uniform square width. I am very happy with the Delta professional 10" radial arm saw. Glad I bought it. I will definitely be getting some extensive use out of it.

Getting ready to go into Lowes, in Jackson TN as I am out of driving time for the day. Figure I can get the shopping done tonite so I can just go strait to work when I get back home tomorrow afternoon. Tonites mission is to acquire everything to go from the power pole to my loads in the shop. As well as lights, switches, outlets, the whole bit. Going to go ahead and wire it for 220v so I can get a better compressor and welder.

As someone who has owned 25 vehicles from all over the country and have been registered in GA, CT, SC, TX, & CA. Getting a title is a matter of knowledge and conviction. Takes some digging sometimes.

Oklahoma will not title it because it was never transferred. I would have to go to Florida, find the last registered owner, and have them file for lost in FL. Or go through a major process called title 42. Not interested.

Got all the wiring inside done as well as the service line ran to the pole. Waiting on the power co now.

Still have a little fire blocking to complete, as well as complete the framing on the lofts. But all the inside wiring is complete. I may add a 220 line on the one wall with outlets for the bandsaw and radial arm saw as they can be ran on both depending on how you wire them.
Got to do the outside plugs and the 220 line to the compressor still but those can wait. I may put the compressor over closer to the pole and run hard line to the shop from it.

Almost done with the lower part. Gotta go buy a ladder to do the upper. My 24' extension ladder is a bit big for inside work lol.
    Much cooler in here already.

I am now doing this all myself. It will take longer but I am tired of the mistakes my cousin kept making. He didn't understand its my wallet his screw ups were affecting. He got all butt hurt and didn't talk to me for me for 3 days, Damn it was nice and peaceful lol.

Bottom all done except for this.

    0723181750.jpg

That small bit will have to wait till next week when I start the top. I don't want to open a new bag just for that and have it all over the shop while I am cutting the soffets next weekend. 3 bags did all the bottom. 33 Batts 96" x 15" and I still have 3 bags left. I think I will have enough lol. Gonna use 1" foam for the inner roof on the bottom of the lofts and to span the gap between them. Also on the backs of the doors as you can feel the heat coming off them.

Well it looks like I may have to take a week or two off from all out working on the shop. I have to put up a pool this weekend and well yes it will be a great place to test new hulls hehe. But more so I just spent money to buy a pair of 1911s. I know most will think me a NUT but I figure you better buy while you still can. Also with what the faa and big business is doing it looks as though dark days are ahead for the model aircraft hobby. So I have decided to get into outboard power boats. Going to build my own. Stay tuned.

    My new EDC companion.

    0730182125.jpg

Added the aluminum grips left over from my last 1911. A Sig Platinum Elite. They are not what I want but better than the plastic ones it came with.

Got the roof insulation in today. As well as the new pool up and filling.

Work on the upper walls in the morning then it's all done for now.

Well looks like I am getting a real boat. Got a guy willing to swap me an 89 Javelin 20' fish and ski for my 85 k5 diesel blazer. Going up there tomorrow to try to close the deal. Wish me luck. I was asking 1k more for my truck than he was on the boat. However the market is totally saturated with decent cheap boats around here at the moment. So he is having trouble selling it at a good price. Nada on it is $4700 and he is asking $2500 and has lowered it twice to get there. He figured he can sell the Blazer easier. I said sure why not lol. So wish me luck. Hopefully I can be on the water soon.
