    I don't expect gaping holes (like what CSS Virginia did to USS Cumberland during Civil War), but I predict lots of cracked / split balsa letting in water. Sinks from ram? Not from ramming alone (unless pump fails). I think the ram would add to flooding caused by bb hits. (CSS Virginia, known to Yankee's as USS Merrimac)
