I couldn't get out anymore this season and submit more. It was a very inactive season for me. I couldn't get Montana finished in time.

All right, submission process has closed, I'll get details on stage 1 of the judging process (wherein the membership votes) posted later today for everyone.

Yes indeed. got distracted by the need to change a tire with a screw stuck in it and completely forgot. A horrible dereliction of internet duty!

I have opened the 2 challenge subforums for all to see. Community Voting will be done by Likes. You may 'like' as many or as few as you desire. If you 'Like' everything, then you basically throw away your vote, but that is your choice. If you 'like' everything but one, then you essentially cast a vote against that one. Only Likes on the first post of each thread will be counted towards the Like total of a thread.

    https://rcwarshipcombat.com/forums/2015-combat-photo-challenge.616/
    https://rcwarshipcombat.com/forums/2015-beauty-cool-photo-challenge.618/

We will leave community voting open until the very vague timeframe of the morning of Nov 12th (I can't schedule the permission change and I can't guarantee when I will flip the switch as a result). At which point the members of the RCWC staff will meet, cast their votes/break any ties. Staff votes shall be counted as 2 Likes, unless fewer than 20 members engage in the voting, in which case they shall be counted as 1 votes. Once the likening has been completed we will announce the winners.

Also there is no prohibition against liking your own submissions.

Edit: beaver correctly points out below that I forgot that you cant like your own content in general.

First, for everyone who participated in the submitting and the voting, thank you.

    And time for winners:
    For Combat,

    For Beauty/Cool

The RCWC staff was unable to make a consensus selection for a Judge's choice as we were rather spread across the board for what we liked of the remaining entries, so we have elected to forego that and skip to awarding a prize to a random entrant. That entrant, randomly selected through an obscure process involving post-it notes folded in half in a bag, is @WillCover.

Congratulations winners, PM me your mailing address and we'll get the ball rolling on getting you your prizes.

I'd like to thank the gods of the random post-it notes and the esteemed staff of RCWC:cool:

Heh....Lou should acknowledge what a team effort that photo was.... McSpuds for providing the target, Frank F for the sub, me for taking the photo & himself for submitting it :)

    From my PM:
Spuds took the video, I asked Frank if I could submit on his behalf as he is not computer savvy. Spuds doesn't mind me capturing the screen shot.
I am just the go-between, if it wins then whatever would go to Frank (great guy).

Hey here at Magic Kingdom right now on vacation. I will be home Nov 23 rd. Thanks all for the votes. Wife gets the credit for the pic. Using a Canon camera and Zoom wide angle lens she just captured that pic at the right moment.

WOW!...I got this cool corrugated box in the mail today, and it was packaged so good. They even put some pieces of ply wood in it to keep it from bending!
