Flyback diode specs for solenoids

    Does anyone have the spec used on the fly back diodes used on solenoids? Ideally the ones that were supplied with the team delta firing boards.

    Also do the polulu firing boards need a diode or are they integrated in the circuit? I had seen mention somewhere that they were.

    The pololu boards come with the flyback diode on the board.

    I've always just used a IN4004 or 4001 or equivalent, nothing special.

    But yeah, boards having them built in sure is a nice thing.
