Did the plastic tube not work out? I like that idea. So purchase a bc or strike cannon and modify?

So I got home from work yesterday and the early Santa had come bearing gifts. I got the abs for the deck and super. Very flexible but i knew I would have to reinforce parts of it. The gi regulator came in. I used the Tanner first to try it out. Now I have a completely different glow. Just kidding. Opened it up to see what it was all about and it is fairly straight forward. Got the prop shafts and stuffing tubes in place along with the rudder and motor mounts. Before I place the pump I should probably get the cannon taken care of. Just a progress update.

What size aluminum pipe did you use and what o-ring do I need to get for the gi regulator?

I purchased a set of props and the cannon for this hull. I know that I need to add pictures. Just keep forgetting to take pictures while working on it. I plan on trying to copy steve's cannon. Anything to lighten the topside weight.

Would it be lighter to go with a poppet setup or a solenoid?

Though call. Weight might be close but the poppet could be more space intensive.

This is what I have so far.

Now for the plan as it stands.

    The plan:
1 armed rear facing turret to take best advantage of the speed of this destroyer.
    .5 unit pump.

Brushed motor or motors with esc that I have from previous ship

    abs based super structure.
home made props. Ok so I bought machined ones this time.

I have a new 3 channel radio and receiver.

So I have made some progress. The cannon will get some modifications and I have settled on power needs so I just Need to keep working.

You need to pick yourself up an Innovations Ultraflate inflator. The capsule cup will work with the regulator in the hacked tanning airbrush I see pictured (once removed from the airbrush housing).

The tanning spray that I got has a cup with it. What is the reason behind needing another regulator setup?

unless you use an auto or always-on circuit for your pump, you need more than 3 channels

Thinking it will be always on. Simplifying the wiring.

Same reg, only smaller and lighter with the different cup. FYI, the tanning airbrush and tire inflator are both made by Genuine Innovations.

I will have to get a pressure gauge to set my co2 system, what is recommended?

This build is coming along. For some reason I am having a hard time with the rudder servo mount. It either is to flexible or way to heavy. I will get it though. I do have the super structure partially built but forget to take pics. Just wanted to update.
