FN Suffren build

    Yay!
    Today the Suffren, after having all the notches adjusted, was assembled and finally looked like a ship!
    Next up will be to bend the forward subdeck and to glue the thing into one piece. Hope to have that done by next month to be ready for balsa blocking and fiberglassing once it’s warm enough.

    I started glueing balsa blocks into the lower hull sections (no pics, unfortunately) and made some nice progress in the 45o stern area.
    What is the standard post-step freeboard for a Suffren? The scale waterline just seems far too low.
