To be honest. I have not yet run her myself. So I can't answer that question. Dustin finished her for me, and ran her at the conference. But he has been experiencing some trouble with his internet as of late. So in time, I imagine he will answer that one. It sure looked fun on the water though. I can't wait for my chance to take her out for a spin, and stretch her legs. After watching Chris maul all of his opponants with his little Tashkent a couple of months ago, I am pretty certain that this little boat is going to frustrate a lot of folks. Mikey

Josh, It ran lime a champ. It was tippy, which was to be expected in something with such little beam, and the weight tended to shift a little bit on turns. Even with the ESC dialed down as much as it was, this boat could scoot when changing acceleration. Full reverse was almost as fast as forward, but a good way to take on water over the fantail. The Emil Bertin's captain kept trying to chase me down, but as we were both max speed, he didn't score any hits. The turn radius was good if I remembered to not go hard over on the rudder. If I forgot, it was pretty bad. Programming the radio to drop travel from 50% to ~35% should really help on this. I will redo the internals for Mikey this winter. The first order of business is to move the cannon to the stern. At a stand still, I was sniping at 25 feet out and skipping across the pond. At full throttle, I figured I would be going above horizontal. I adjusted my tactics to charge in at a battle wagon slugging it out with one of my teammates them slam full reverse to lift my stern and drop the bow. The problem was that it left me a slow target until I could scoot out of there because I had to change back to full speed ahead again. The second order of business is to work on roll stability. I intend set the internal locations with velcro or something so they do not shift when turning. Also, I think adding some simple bilge keels will help a lot in that regard. I will also re-do the float line system. There are a couple of cannon designs being discussed right now between Mikey and myself.
Oh, have to add that the 1.5Ah LiFe battery pack from strike ran the boat with no issues. Only did the one sortie as a hard-to-find CO2 leak consumed two of the three 16g cartridges I brought along Saturday.
