    The hull form, bow, and deck step all look like the Italian cruiser Giussano. But you already said it wasn't, so... I have no idea.

    Yeah it's not Italian. My plan is to mount triple sterns on it if that helps at all.

    by triple sterns do you mean a triple barrel turret or triple as in three stern turret?

    The Calcutta hint reminded me after I reread what you said about the wrong country. The Mendez is a very good looking boat. Be an easier build in 1:96 scale. Look forward to seeing your progress.

    Redesigned the hull to get displacement closer to max. The hull has now been passed on to Will for him to work his voodoo magic and make it ready for printing.

    Thanks to @kevin P.s images and model pics available online I was able to flesh out a reasonably accurate superstructure today. She's going to be a handsome boat.
    I've worked out a deal to swap guns for a 3dp hull from @bsgkid117. When that's is done the build will begin!
