With one person against and the rest in favor of simplifying the gun tables... I would say we have a consensus, at least on the principle. At this point, I'm asking everyone battling, building, or seriously considering building a Battlestations boat to vote YES or NO on the following proposal:

    **************************************************
BB (.177") 75mm up to 7.99”, 3 second fire rate.
7/32” rounds would be from 8.0” to 12.99" 6 second fire rate
1/4” rounds would be from 13.0”+ 8 second fire rate

Special cases to be specifically delineated in the near future, such as the US predreads being derated to 7/32" as Mark described. Other ships could be derated later.
    **************************************************

It's okay to vote no, and okay to vote yes. If we disagree, we disagree without being disagreeable :)

Yes with the proviso that we not make the shiplist more complicated by altering specific ships.

I voted yes, but the Strasbourg currently has 7/32" barrels, so I would like to submit a waiver for ships already on the water.

I'm okay with waivers for already-existing ships that have their cannons. The intent is not to make people re-gun existing boats, merely to make it easier going forward.
