Steven, one of my friend, has her younger brother, Bismarck.. but she 16lbs, with everything in her, right? Nikki
Mike! ok. i was sure..but like i said, she was a cool ship! O, going total off this, but has anyone dropped their CO2 bottle on their head, and what is the biggest CO2 bottle you can get?? Nikki
Steven, Ok... anyway, i know we took Atlanta off the list, for now! O, going total off this, but has anyone dropped their CO2 bottle on their head? Nikki
Probably a rare occurance. Most of the time if a bottle isn't in teh ship ready to go, it's in the cooler chilling with the ice.
Mike.. Thanks for that! O, Did you guys know Strike Models make a 20oz CO2 bottle! when i went to the IRCWCC spring Battle i dont know how many time i jumped, when someone fulll up the CO2 bottle.. i dont know what it was, but it made me jump everytime.. Nikki
If you pick the Des Moines , I have a lot of pictures of the Salem(sister ship). My kids did a cub scout/ sleep over on the Salem a couple of weeks ago and took tons of pictures of turrets, decks & superstructures. Tom
Tom, I still haven't totally Picked yet.. im still trying to figured that out! On one hand i went PG cause i know her history, but Daisy Mae, is a little bigger! Nikki
That's the reason I named my Des Moines class ship the Salem. I've been to visit her, so that was pretty cool.
Mike, Ya, but Daisy Mae and her two sisters were commissioned to later to see action in WW 2. Were as PG Was total Active, even if she didn't have the fuel.. she still all the line of a powerful cruiser! and one the one bigg bad ass ship in Germany.. Nikki
My advice: Build the larger ship first. You really like the Prinz Eugen, so build it for your second ship. The experience you gain in your first build will mean you should get a better result for your Eugen build. Then sell your first ship to a buddy and use the Eugen to sink him.
Darren, My thing is i need a small Boat, nothing bigger then 60 inches, im not putting her in are the car Trunk, i like have my boat new to me in the car!! But what do you guys thing/ Nikki
At 57.4 inches, a PE will fit but it's tight. Des Moines will not fit. I'd still go with a Brooklyn-class ship or a Cleveland class ship.
