7/5 highly recommend getting a SJS kit. Will really does set you up for success with a build. I was there this weekend. After a lot of false starts with my own builds I finally feel like I have the best shot to actually have something battle worthy. It would have been a lot further a long than it is just due to me already having a handle on laying out the innards and not bringing those parts with me.
We (SJS) just need to really work out the clearance holes on the stuffing tubes. I hand-finish the kits that have been mailed out, unfortunately @darkapollo 's kit was still quite raw when he came here to assemble it and we got one of the stuffing tubes stuck. After about 40 minutes of violence we got both successfully installed.
