Hello from DC Area

I joined the forums at the start of 2021, so an introduction is quite overdue. Since then, I’ve wanted to build an RC Warship but lacked the resources and knowledge to know where to start. After looking at many build threads on the site, I decided to pull the trigger on the project. For now, I’ve been buying the parts to build the USS Baltimore which I plan on building over the summer. I’m thinking it will only be for show rather than combat since I’m unable to travel to combat events.

I'm in Annapolis and we hold meetings every Friday evening. Only 20 minutes from the DC border, straight shot down 50. Full shop available. Lots of knowledge.

Welcome. I’m in Alexandria and will be moving to Chantilly in July where I’ll be able to host build sessions as well. I try to make it to Steve’s on Fridays when life allows

 

Sweet! Annapolis is a bit of a farther drive from where I'm at, so I'll have to set a day aside during the summer. Thanks for the info.

 

Chantilly will definitely be a closer drive for me. Also, I've watched some of your build videos and they are definitely helpful in researching the process.
