    I’m just starting to get into this hobby, but i first need some tips and a used ship for my first ship I’m hoping to make friends and have fun I’ll take all the help and info I can get thx :)

    Most groups will just expect a parent/guardian/older sibling to accompany minors

    I would definitely get in touch with SCRAP, they have an email list and discord, and start asking questions. What kind of hobby skills and tools and workspace do you have? Some decisions about what to buy, what to make will come down to what your experience and budget is. You can make almost everything in a combat boat, but there are supplies and some equipment you'll have to buy too.
