Help Bismarck warship build

    If you do wire them in series, make sure they can take a full voltage stall without exploding into flame before you run them in the water. I had to do my LST motors in series to get the rpm down to a reasonable level. Poor motor selection, they were rated for 3 volts, but the speed controls need a higher voltage to run and no endpoint adjustment on the cheapo radios I got for them. Guaranteed that one will motor will run faster than the other motor.

    haha ok guys thanks for the input my uncle is coming down he knows his electronics very well do to the fact he had lots of rc things and hes also a HAM radio operator im not sure if anyone does that on here but his call sign is AA3DF haha child hood memories playing with his radio watching him get frustrated after messing up everything. anyway im sure he will put me in the right direction i couldnt even understand what he was telling me on the phone with different current voltage and ohms so haha he will know and im probably gonna take a lesson from him, thank you all for helping me through this such a pain in the ass time haha

    oh yes i forgot to mention on the ship detail, i actually added more. thank you Curt im still finding more details for it but it looks a little different than the pictures do now, so when i get a good camera ill take many till then keep posted and thank you guys for all the help and support.

    Take a picture of the anchor Capstains. I want to see what you used.

    They are actually spools as you can see, i have an extra one not painted and then i got the painted ones as you can see on the ship i beleive its the closes thing i could get to the real deal without spending alot of money and it is actually the actual scale size surprizingly

    David I used spools on mine when I first built it and left the spools on for about 6 years. They were easy to replace if they got shot off.

    yes i will arm her but she will still be just for show and what do you use now Curt?

    I used various caps from various things. I think I used mini wooden spools last time. Next set I am going to carve them out and paint them the green white and red white they have.

    walmart $1 stuff, sadly i went missed the really nice thick metal looking ones, they were $3 and its in the arts and crafts section of walmart

    no and if i did they would be up but i think she looks alot better in person.

    that's cool! remember, and i might be wrong on this, but the first ship is always the test bed, for another ship!!!!! But i love the photos you have up with her!!!!!

    haha idk this is a ship that i really care about but the next one i buy will be my war ship so that will have major testing done, you should come check out my Bismarck sometime

    Just wondering, do you counter rotate the props? I'm thing about doing that with my LST, I know Bismarck has three props?

    yes i counter rotated 1 prop and that is starboard side
