Hi all, My name is Pete (Klunk). I live in Luton in the UK. I have doing RC for 35 years, ans ships for 11 years now. Im active on Model Boat Mayhem and am secretary of my local club. I tend to restore old ships and at present have over 30 at this stage, and well over 100 ships yachts and submarines in various sheds. Out of the 100 plus about 20 are ready to go at any one time. I have no specific love of any type of ship, but I like unusual!
At present I am restoring 1 x 1/144 scale airvraft carriers, USS Bogea Bay , and escort carrier and HMS Colossus, a British Light Fleet Carrier.
I have lurked at various times on this forum, really interesting stuff, and now I am ready to take the plunge and actually build a working Big Gun Warship. But with UK law on Guns, pollution controls etc it will have to be a display unit only, unless I can find a biodegradable ammo!

    Pete

With UK gun laws, is battling on private property also out of the question?

It's less likely you will be caught, but it would still be illegal.

Most of the ammo you can purchase for big gun is biodegradable. Unless there is a stricter definition on it?
