    Nah. Cutting foam on the bandsaw, fingers a hair from the blade is much more satisfying!

    Well you see, I lack your finesse in such operations and would likely have my fingers in the blade. So instead of cutting them off, lately I've been burning them on a hot build plate. :D

    I like to do it 50/50. Some parts are printed, some cut from foam. Both have advantages

    Started splashing paint on the super. Talk about nooks and crannies!

    Last bit to build is the aft tripod. Need to come up with some sort of hold down system for this section because it needs to be removable. I'm thinking magnets.

    Starting to look tough. Hopefully she'll be a formidable addition to the Maryland Attack Group!

    Just about finished up with this beast. The last superstructure piece is done. It's removable and held in place by magnets.

    Pinstriping tape works well too. Available at just about any autoparts stores in 1/4" wide rolls.

    If you don't mind my asking, what kind of motors are those? Are those Mabuchi or Johnson?
