Oh what a can of worms a couple of little nuts have opened up. I guess I'll have to remove the hardware in question, avoid deep ponds from here on out (and add a 1/16" to my drag disks to make up for all that lost drag area )! LOL..............
I use nuts and screws through the hull to hold things down. Just keep them below 3/8 16tpi. Some people will find problems with any ship, usually after a battle and with the internet as insulation.
Honestly i would expect better engineering from Tyng Tech shipyard, like a 3D printed fairing that snaps onto the nuts or something, or custom designed faired nuts
