I would say she turns as well as my PE. And that boat turns on a dime.

[:)]Hmmm if Dreadnought was built for CWC-X that would give it 4.5 units instead of 4. Speed would be the same 28 second. However you could have 60 degree quadrants bow and stern, plus arm up to 2 cannons for a broadside in the same quadrant...hmmm. This would be an interesting ship to setup with the wing turret arrangement for this format.[:)]

I ran the equally slow Espana in NABS under IRCWCC rules, armed with two sidemounts and a single stern gun. Many times I found myself wishing for a forward firing gun because most faster ships avoided combat with her and I couldn't catch them to use the side or stern guns.

If I was building HMS Dreadnought to IRCWCC specs it would have sidemounts in the wing turrets trained 45 degrees forward and a stern gun in Y turret, or a bow gun in a wing turret, a sidemount trained at 90 degrees in X turret, and stern gun in Y turret. The second option has no barrels hanging far out to snag other ships.

For Treaty combat the speed differential between Dreadnought and faster ships is much higher, so a bow gun is a must.
