I have two cruisers for sale both will need to be finished. The Suffolk has a wooden hull, drive shafts and superstructure. Canarias is a unfinished ship. I bought the hull and superstructure parts and gave them to my 10 year old son to build. He didn’t do too bad but I would removed the superstructure and sand the deck. Then it could be cut out for any superstructure you wish to install. It has drive shafts and a rudder all ready installed. Please keep in mind this was a first time project for a 10 year old. This is a British County class hull so you could make it any British county class ship you want. This hull and parts of the superstructure were made from a Bob Potter mold so you know it is very good. The rest of what I have are a collection of old and some never used parts. Two of the guns are from the SNS Canarias I bought from Bob Pottle for my son. He doesn’t want anyone to shoot holes into her so no need for working guns. Also from this ship is the fire control system, Palmer regular, two poppet valves and the servo. These were made by Bob. One of the other guns with the straight feed is a BC gun never used. The other three guns were guns from my old battleship Markgraft. They will need work to make them serviceable, or can be used for parts to build other guns. Also in the spare parts you will see two pumps, two drive motors, lifeboats, a container with parts for building guns. I have drawings for the Canarias, Attack cargo ship USS Algol, and USS Bogue escort carrier. The Bogue drawing is in very bad repair so if someone buys one of the others and wants it I will throw it in for free.
Theses are all ships and parts that I have had for years sitting in my work shop. I know that I will not have time finished any of these. Hoping someone out there is looking for ships and parts to get started. I will sale them all together, which is what I would like to do or I can sale separately. If interested please make reasonable offer keeping in mind shipping cost will be added unless you are willing to pick up. I live in Greenville SC and I know there are some active battlers nearby.

Hi Larry, just a note that my County Class hull mold is only for the 7 Kent sub-class ships (they were bulged) and the Spanish Canarias and Baleares. The later London and Dorsetshire sub-classes of the Counties didn't have bulges.

I have very good plans for the Dorsetshires (same hull dimensions as the Londons) and will be starting the hull plug for a mold after I finish the Java Class CL plug in late January.

I expect to have molds for the Javas and London/Dorsetshire hulls done by April, plus a second Frobisher Class heavy cruiser mold to replace the damaged first one. Fortunately the Frobisher hull plug survived the molding process and needs only minor repairs.

Hey Bob, All I know is that the hull I have is very nice. Ben was working on it by himself trying to build the Canarias. He wouldn’t let me help. He didn’t do too bad but it does need a lot of work. He stopped working on it when he got back the Canarias from you. He really loves that ship. If you look you will see I have the Canarias’s guns and the rest of the Co2 system for sale because he will not let anyone shoot holes into his ship. No need for guns to just sail around the lake.
