    Hey guys,
If a fellow was to build a hypothetical ship, say an H-39 for arguments sake, would he be allowed to bring it on down and play?
I get that they aren't permitted at the 'official' events, but I was thinking for just Sunday hug and slugs.

I don't think there'd be an issue, so long as you've got some sort of reasonable/reliable source material to base size, units, etc on. Conway's is perfectly fine. I'll fight against pretty much anything if it can be sunk.

Cool, Conway's is the source listed in the other thread.
    Should be fun.

If its in Conway's and it lists length, beam, draft, displacement, and main armament then its legal at our club. Of course it still has to be built to all the other standard construction rules to be legal. We just aren't picky about following the official ship list.
