I am looking for a fiberglass hull to build a US war ship , I found some websites that sell them ,But its out of my budget at this time.

Scale, ship desired, and what do you consider a nice price?

Not sure of what scale I want, See what's out there. Price, Cheaper than want some websites are asking.
Might consider making one out of wood. You have any Fiberglass hulls ?

In 1:144 scale (most commonly used in these clubs), you won't find a professionally made cruiser-sized hull for less than $120. If you have the tools & skills, you can build a wooden hull for about half that ($60 bucks worth of good plywood). Note this doesn't include glues, waterproofing materials, etc. And you'd still need to find or buy a good plan set to build from....

If you want to build a model, that's fine. If you want to do combat, Styrene will shatter on impact. Also, apart from Battlestations!, all the clubs are 1/144 scale.

I don't think there are any RC Battleship clubs on Vancouver Island,But I will build for fun and video the build, I might take a step back and start with a minesweeper, Here is one I videoed of the RC Boys flying planes last weekend
I edited out the old sound and added some fake sounds,

I think Jay is still posted in Victoria on Vancouver Island. He has several battle ready or almost ready combat models.

Good luck to you! Hope you get the hang of it and decide to do combat. It's the best part of the hobby!
