Johnny, feel your pain. This is what I was talking about with Duke V1, I rebuilt the entire bow in fiberglass (plug below)
I think the biggest problem with the crack sealer is that some people went overboard with it, and poured it thick and everywhere. The second biggest problem is when the next owner has the joy of reworking an area with it. That said, I've also found removing previous owners foam, superglue residues and piles/puddles of epoxy to be quite annoying as well. I've been happy enough with mine, but I thought it out and poured over balsa and foam to minimize weight addition and essentially used it as a surface coat and crack filler.. just not on concrete. The one time I had cause to remove a decent sized chunk of it (rebuilding my drivetrain to replace stuffing tubes) I did not have much difficulty cutting out the parts I needed removed.
That almost looks like the shop at Tugy's place.... Just need to add a little more clutter on the table and floor..
Quit picking on poor Tug, he doesn't have anywhere near the amount of hulls he used to. I think we should take up a collection at Nats
I put extra in there just for you take out j/k Looking good johnny! Interested in seeing the correct bow shape.
