More proof that even small power tools have absolutely no respect for human flesh and will vigorously defend their space whilst inflcting maximum damage to anyone within range.
You serve an admirable example for us all.
Hope there was no nerve damage.

Well, it took awhile to recover from that cut. More psychological than physical! I still have a hard time using my dremel.. :crying:

After the cut I had to take a break from building, turned out to be a longer break than planned but I am now back in the saddle and Spudwerks is back in action.

I will have to go through my builds to see where I am at since it has been a year since I have worked in the shop.

Keep tuned for updates on the Nagato and the other builds..

RE: IJN Mutsu 7yr build project I have had bad cuts like that, stabs, solder burns , grabbed the soldering iron by the hot end once, dropped solder droplets on my bare legs, hotglued my fingers together, made large incisions with my X-CTO accidentaly, glued my inner nostril with Ca. You will overcome your fear and become more careful.

RE: IJN Mutsu 7yr build project Well, if you're using CA glue, and you get some on your finger at about the same time your nose REALLY itches...

It's a hard foam. The kit was a battlersconnection kit. You can get the foam at smoothon.com

RE: IJN Mutsu 10yr build project Is the foam part something you made? Or did it come from somewhere? Either way, it's looking great with the work you're doing :)

RE: IJN Mutsu 10yr build project I think it is/was part of the kit for that ship from BC, one of the guys up here was building a Mutsu, and I did see that same foam SS stuff in his boxes.

The tan foam parts are from the kit. The green foam is pieces I had to add.
