    I'm having a hard time slicing the file. it keeps detaching the bow keel

    What are you slicing with? Cura didn't object to the bow.

    matter slice. should run it through cura with my printer settings.

    I use slic3r I have had that problem before with other prints . I went back and made a new copy of the stl file and finaly came out fine.

    Those boats are amazing . Wish I could get a set for my Yamato.

    wow at least someone else uses a reel for there float line. they are alot more economical and minimize tangles. just don't leave anything loose in the boat as it will find that reel and lodge against it even if its in the opposite end of the ship.

    I have a reel with heavy fishing line (50 lb test) in SNS Canarias. The cylindrical catapult base is the float.

    Ok well mi wife has finally slowed down on here prodjects for me to do. Finally started printing out the 17m launch and as always first try not so good reorientating the piece and will try again here was the first try image.jpeg

    thats not too shabby for a first go. Looks downright decent at this distance.

    Are you using Simplify3d?

    New orientation seems to work I still need to clean it up a bit and paint but I was excited and had to post image.jpg image.jpg

    123D Design by autodesk it allows me to use my iPad as well as my PC

    Lol shelved do to excessive honeydo's. Printer is in pieces waiting on me to finish all the upgrades. Headed to Ireland for two weeks of R&R. When I get back from that and finish the remodel on the great room. I might have time to get back into it.
