Well after a couple of years of crazy hours at work and even crazier hours spent traveling back and forth to work I've accepted a new position in Michigan City, Indiana. I'll be starting the day after Memorial Day and will hopefully totally move by the end of June...or whenever the house sells. Looks like I may be drydocked for the year but am going to try working some things out with Ducky (Scott) to see about hosting an even later this year. He's just down the road from where I'll be living. At least I'll have a bit more time and more money to put into the hobby in the future!;)

I'll be on and off from time to time but if anyone has any question please PM me and I'll get back with you. Thanks...

seems like with all the captains in Indiana, we could get something going. I am mainly interested in big gun or battlestations. Still have to look at treaty, but not sure. fast / small gun is just not my thing. Nothing against it, but having seen it and watched videos, just not my personal thing.

We do have a good sized / growing group in Michigan. We are fast gun.
I have battled fast gun AND Washington Treaty. They are both 144 scale.
There are great guys in Indiana / Ohio.
I think you should attend some battles this summer and see the real thing.
    Welcome to the hobby.
    Kas
p.s. we are having a build March 18

I will have to take a look at your schedule, I moved here from Allegan MI area. Used to run with the Grand Rapids IMPBA racing crew. Still camp up in Hopkins area, so will have to see if I am in the area for a battle. I do miss the RC combat, did it for a lot of years.

If y'all can find the time we are battling on Sept 16th and we are having a 2 day event on Sept 30/Oct 1st for the last of the season. Would love to see you guys come up and have some fun with us.

That would depend on if Scott is interested or willing to travel. Depends on if he can get a ride. I'm going to be closing on a house around that time so I'm out. Thank you for the invitation.

Also let's let this thread die. It has served it's purpose. No need to post anything not related to it's topic. Thanks
