Hey Fred, I went to the Region 3 battle on the 3rd, and it was outstanding. The guys are great and very helpful, McSpuds and Tug (and I think there are a few others on here...) are all great guys. I would recommend getting with McSpuds if he's close enough for a day trip and seeing what he can teach ya. I learned a lot from just one battle, and I am currently working on my ship, it's going slow and hopefully this week I will have progress with it.

It was great meeting you and your daughter.
And we look forward to battling with you.
When you decide what the ship of your dreams will be, just let us know, and we will get on it, and get it done.
You had mentioned the Russian battlecruiser. And also that you like the German ships.
So might I suggest you look into three other ships that are similar to the Russian battlecruiser, but are also German.
First is the Scharnhorst class battleships.
Second is the Gneisenau which was being re-constucted after being damaged. She was to be lengthened, and up-gunned to six 15" guns.
And last, but not least, would be the O-class battlecruisers.
They were to have six 15" guns as well, but with much less armor.
Very fast, and would be a great turner.
All of these ships would be great fun battling. Although admittedly, none of them are perfect for the combat.
If you decide that you don't want a challenged boat, and want to dominate the waters, then you can just pick any French ship (in any class), and enjoy many years of world domination.
    Hey! I'm just saying.
Sorry it took so long to hook up with you.
    Mikey
