Interesting angular poisiton sensor

    check that out folks. that might be sensitive enough for most of our purposes, although the range is a bit limited at +/- 90 degrees. They claim a error of better than 0.05 degrees... Not the cheapest in 1 and two volumes ~17-18$ each but cost drops to 6$ each for 25 and 3.25 each for 100 (I doubt we would ever get to 1000)

    But this sort of thing might be just the trick for a homebrew'd servo as this could concievably replace the pot.

    Or gear the magnet and use it for a 270 degree turret...
