Looking for one of these. I recall that there was someone making these. The hull list on the SCRAP website references an email, but haven't heard anything back. Anyone out there have one, or can point me to their producer? Thanks!

Rich Wands of the OAF has the Settsu mold. Maybe drop a line on the OAF Website http://ontarioattackforce.multiply.com. I don't see him to often at the battles, so I don't know if he is having life issues (no time, too busy etc) or not.

Sorry for pulling out an old thread, but it fit with what I am looking for. Basically, looking for hulls and/or plans for the Kawachi or Settsu.

I believe Mark K. Has the kawachi mold now, I think it is a little rough, but I can pass on your contact info to him if you are interested.

I think the mould might have been made by the late Dan McGuffin (?) of the OAF in the early 2000s. He attended CANNATS and brought some moulds to show me, including one for Nagato that he couldn't use due to major defects. I don't remember if he had the Kawachi mould with him but recall he was working on one. I gave him advice on how to improve his moulds and showed him my workshop. He operated the IJN Kirishima at CANNATS and was a really nice guy. Unfortunately he died at a young age only a few years later.

Dan was a nice guy but didn't talk much. We met him at IRCWCC NATS at Lake Junaluska in 1999, I think he was driving a Fuso then.
