[:)]Well it's done. I sent off payment for the Swampy KGV hull from Morgan Miller. He should get payment this tuesday. Morgan is sending plans 1/128 and 1/144 of the ship. Both plans are different time periods. The 1/128 is at the end of the war. The other is the early version. He's sending done some valves and stuff along with a TX and hopefully a receivor if he can find it... FIND IT BUDDY..PLEASE!!

This model will be built to the new rule format and will be allowed to carry 7 units. It will be part of a specific rule that these type of ships with Quad guns can mount 1 sidemount with Quads or a Bow Quad or stern Quad. Richilieu will be able to do the same with a single QUAD sidemount. Should open up interest in these ships for fast gun under the new style.

    Cheers.

I am looking forward to outfitting this ship. There's been barely a handful in the hobby at least for fast gun style. I'd like to see more of this class in the sport.

For others interested in the KGV Class, the Swampworks hull is OOP. Ralph Coles makes a superb KGV hull here in Canada and his hull includes main and secondary turrets.

Ralph is presently making a variety of 1/144 hulls to build up his stock for sales and has at least one KGV.

Sweet. I have KGV turrets and secondaries on order from Ralph to go with the Graf Spee. I got a good deal with Morgan and it's a decent hull.
Ralph got any pics of this KGV HULL? I like to see them. It would be nice to get another and build as the POW as it was here in Newfoundland in Placentia Bay.

On Saturday Ralph said he'll post photos of his hulls on his Facebook page. I suggested he also post them to R/C Naval Combat on the 'General' forum, or send a link to his Facebook photos when ready.

Ralph should use the forum to post pics of his work. I still have no idea what the Graf Spee hull looks like that he is making.

[:)]That would be cool. Any pics of your Hull? When I get mine we should post pics side by side to see the differences. I don't have an issue with the Swampy one as most of the detail is cut away anyway from the hull sides anyway when your sheeting. But I am curious to see the differences. Morgan has a 1/128 scale KGV from Fleet Scale and that has all the hull details. Course this is not used for RC combat.

I got 2 sets coming in from Morgan with the KGV hull. If you want me to copy them I will get a price for you on getting them copied.
