Well if I have to choose an allied ship it will always be a kipper boat. The U.S ships just are all sooooo ugly.

Well with all the axis in this club it might be good to shoot at some other ships for a change.

An idea is an assigned target battle. Sortie ends when all ammo is expended. Everyone draws from a hat for their assigned target. There is no five. The first person to sink their assigned target without being sunk wins.

interesting idea paul, I think that might work, would everyone know what targets everybody else has? If they don't it could make things real interesting.

Nobody would know who other people are gunning for. The object would be that you can only fire on your assigned target

Once a boat was sunk the battle would cease and then a reload (no patching) and redraw names again. It would be until final 2 and then a they battle it out for last man standing

Ouch Jab Jab, well it might not favor the the big guns because they might never get a shot a there target or once they do fire on the target ship, the target might use the other ships for cover.

It has the flavor of a captain being the hunter and being hunted at the same time. With no repair opportunities all damage is cumulative. So by the time you got the last man standing he will be very bloody.

Both should be very bloody unless the hunted can run really fast.

I love hunting...combat ships. When I see the wounds my ship inflicts on the prey, and seeing the bilge pump stream start to ..bleed..and bleed more... ahhh such pleasure...
