Although this is not really related to plans, I put this here. I was wondering where to get good 1/144 RC ship kits. Like nearly full kits not just hulls. I know Strike used to have kits and I know Vac-U-Boat has them.
    Are there any other kits?

Actually, our highest volume supplier of all items model warship for combat, is Battler's Connection. For the larger ships, he has all the gear.

Speaking of Vac-U-Boat, what's going on with them? I just checked their website and the combat Fletcher and Gearing are down.

I just talked with him at the last battle. He's making new stock for a bunch of his boats that were out of stock for a while. The destroyers should still be available, I just bought a couple from him at Nats. No idea what's up with the website though.

Okay good. I'd been chatting with him on and off the past year or so about getting a Gearing or two the next time I'm down in GA. Hadn't heard from him in almost a year, then saw that.

    Model Ships Ahoy sells hulls.
There is this Australian manufacturer I don’t remember the name of. They sell hulls.
    Otherwise I don’t know.

Edit: the Australian manufacturer is The Bowning Shipyard
    Dreadnought hulls sells too.

Australian hull maker is dreadnought hulls, can be found via google. He has a larger selection.

Traditionally the only fiberglass hulls that are available are the ships that are most popular from their characteristics. Obscure or poor-characteristic hulls don’t sell much, so there isn’t incentive to put the large amount of time and $$ into making a mold.

I recommend contacting the nearest club and checking things out in person, they might have old or unbuilt boats available and could help refine your ship selection process

The Vac-U-Boat RC Warship Combat Products page is still active but just not publicly linked on my home page anymore. I did this mainly due to scary emails from kids wanting to buy a "ship that shoots bb's at stuff". I feel obligated to the general public to encourage only those seriously interested in entering the RC Warship Combat community. Feel free to forward the link to those who are interested. Thanks, Phil http://vac-u-boat.com/rc_warship_combat_products_page.htm

Unless you heard from Stephen or Keri that that list is accurate and available to purchase from, I would not rely on it. It is no longer linked in their menu and their homepage indicates only plans are still available.
