Results of 30AUG & 31AUG14 battle at Potters Rd, Saranac, MI.
A twenty minute downpour blew threw on Sat. No impact on our battling. Much time surveying the pond and discussing if the pond is viable as a Nats site. Result is yes, if we can get a diver to recover ships.
Kas and I are toy'g with the idea of attending the 21SEP battle at Port Polar Bear. Anybody want to tag along?
    Mark---VDT
    Kas — Invincible
    Skylar--- Graf Spee
    Will Cover -- Pennsylvania
    Tom Palmer – West Virginia

    Sat AM battle
Pennsylvania equipped with video camera. VDT attacks trying to stay in camera view. West Virginia’s haymaker firing exceptionally crisp today. Graf Spee zagged when it should have zigged. Received a nice crisp batch of BB’s.

    Sat PM battle
West Virginia went dead in the water. VDT wounded but made it. Pennsylvania ran out of battery power at the end of the 2nd sortie, and survived. Graf Spee was last off the water with ammo.

    Sun AM battle
The first 20LBS CO2 bottle ran out after the first sortie. A little odd it only lasted five sorties for five ships. VDT rudder servo died early in the 2nd sortie. Replaced, but too late to rejoin the sortie. Pennsylvania’s pump died. Replacement pump smoked. Third pump worked.

    Sun PM battle
1stsortie. VDT expends most of it’s ammo at Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania cannons stop firing. Suspect lack of CO2. More CO2 is no help. Pennsylvania survives the sortie, but calls it a day. Invincible and West Virginia twist and turn the entire sortie. 2nd sortie Mark says, OK Kas you soften up the West Virginia. Kas declines. VDT does the softening. Pumping hard VDT calls five. VDT pulls close to shore in case of sink. West Virginia unloads a few salvos. VDT survives.
