Ron is a very talented builder and a nice guy. Not taking advantage of living so close to him is silly. Get over there and build. He has an I boat that he lent out last year to a rookie and the guy had a blast all week. Don't worry about the size of the boats, just go over and get involved. You will have a blast too!

Ubermelon, i didn't realize you were living next to someone that know s what they are doing and for that im very jealous, because when i bought my Bismarck i had no clue what i was doing but i had fun doing that haha, anyway you will have even more fun with your builds if you have someone with you, if you make a mistake he would know how to fix about it and you can share a laugh, as for me when i made a mistake i have to do research and its very frustrating. so definitely take advantage and build a nice ship. Have fun man!

Yeah, just find a ride to Greensboro and I will help as much as I can. I work on boat stuff just about every weekend, mostly Saturday but sometimes Sunday too. Sometimes the other two local guys show up. I have an old (1996) French cruiser you can have to play with if you can put up with the Frog jokes. It will need a complete rebuild.

    Yeah, frog jokes.
The best thing about french ships are the frog jokes.

"Cheese eating Surrender Monkeys" is probably the most famous model warship combat one-liner ever posted on YouTube. I love it!
