Ron is a very talented builder and a nice guy. Not taking advantage of living so close to him is silly. Get over there and build. He has an I boat that he lent out last year to a rookie and the guy had a blast all week. Don't worry about the size of the boats, just go over and get involved. You will have a blast too!
Ubermelon, i didn't realize you were living next to someone that know s what they are doing and for that im very jealous, because when i bought my Bismarck i had no clue what i was doing but i had fun doing that haha, anyway you will have even more fun with your builds if you have someone with you, if you make a mistake he would know how to fix about it and you can share a laugh, as for me when i made a mistake i have to do research and its very frustrating. so definitely take advantage and build a nice ship. Have fun man!
Yeah, just find a ride to Greensboro and I will help as much as I can. I work on boat stuff just about every weekend, mostly Saturday but sometimes Sunday too. Sometimes the other two local guys show up. I have an old (1996) French cruiser you can have to play with if you can put up with the Frog jokes. It will need a complete rebuild. Ron Hunt
Yeah, frog jokes. The best thing about french ships are the frog jokes. Just don't mention cheese eating surrender monkeys.
is that in the bottom line video? if so i was like what the hell made me laugh and by the way its a good vid
"Cheese eating Surrender Monkeys" is probably the most famous model warship combat one-liner ever posted on YouTube. I love it!
