I will get those knocked out tonight..... ATG came by and said they couldn't certify the flight deck since it looked like ships company had drew the flight deck markings on with crayons.... Soon as they get those squared away I'll have some beauty shots up along with some from inside the hull.
Tug you may not go full Monty like me, but maybe a FRAM Gearing, CA to CG conversion Baltimore, or a 1980's Iowa? Got bored waiting for paint to dry so i took a few topless shots...... of the boat. As the frame sits now she is about 9lbs. Three large tubes of concrete leveler and some balsa framework yielded a nice midships water channel. If I need to hard mount something I will just gouge a hole in the leveler, insert a mounting bracket and add more leveler to get everything back to perdy. The mounting brackets for the 550's on all four shafts were done that way.

I have a little bit more freedom where I want to put things like CONREP rigs and 25mm mountings. I also need to find 1/144th 5" mounts.(The modern 76 cal vice the 38's) I figure those are close enough to 6" they will accept a slightly larger barrel.
I am debating going back and installing bilge keels. Quick slice into the fiberglass and then a little resin to seal it back up seems.... pretty straight forward. Same way I plan on installing the strut pylons I got from Strike.

Ahhh I see it now. The Otos are the babys we stick on the Figs. I'm thinking of the 5"/62 Mk 45 the newer DDGs roll with.

So by the way I read most BG rules, I sheet the entire hull with the balsa that matches the thickness of the main belt on a boat... As Lex has a belt of 7" listed I will be rolling with 3/32". Now the question is do you find it easier to sheet then apply the silkspan inside first or after the sheet is mounted to the hull? ( Now I just need to see if the local guy HAS any silkspan.)
I sheet first, then apply silkspan outside..... Others apply silkspan to the balsa and then glue it to the hull silkspan side in. I'm still not convinced about that, as the balsa is then only held by the bond between it and the silkspan...
