Does anybody have any good links to gears?

I am having trouble finding 4mm bore 48 pitch gears....

I might have to switch to 32 pitch.

Any links would be helpful, thanks.

Servo City has a pretty decent selection of gears: Gears I didn't see any 4mm press fit gears, but if you are pressing them on a shaft, 5/32 ID should work since it is just a hair smaller (0.001") than 4mm. They do have 4mm hubs which you can fit to a hub mount gear.

I use the hub mounted gears from Servo City. You can get a 4mm hub and then mount a 48 pitch spur gear to it.

48 Pitch Nylon Gears (.200" Face)

48 Pitch Acetal Hub Gears (1/8" Face)

    0.770" Set Screw Hubs

I like the Delrin and have never lost a tooth or gear since I started using them. I use 32P .. every since I had a tiny bb sized piece of balsa get caught in the 48p gears and lock the entire transmission.. it resulted in this:

    (being a rookie was tough!!).

I switched to 32P and never had an issue again... I even chewed through my 1/16 gun hose and didn't even know it.
