Finaly! I found a good Italian ship. now im not saying Andrea Isn't a good one either... but it's a 6.5 unit. same as Bismarck, But i cant seem to figure out how to put these cannons into the ship: 1-50 coil 1-75 coil 3-50 staight... that's exactly what BC sells for that class of ship. Now how exactly do you put this into a ship with three turrets?

On a Second note. I was looking around in the website, and found that they sell a Spurt gun... I sent them an E-mail to see if they still sell it or if they had any pictures to put up on the site.

Does anyone know Anything about there spurt gun?

Most of the time Littorio (or VV as it is often known) is armed with 3 stern guns in the aft turret, 1 unit gun in one of the forward turrets, and a 1.5 unit gun in the other.
Guns in the forward turrets are used as sidemounts.

At one point someone made a fiberglass hull.

the kit i belice is more intended for the Bismark that the VV if you were going to order that kin u would send them an e-mail asking what the difference would be to make that kit for a triple fire. not everything on there website is set in stone

Well if it's triple fire and sinlg eside mounts... wouldn't that mean i could just use the cannon kit of an NC?

the 2 kits are almost the same but first one on the coils are a 75 and not a 50. the second thing is that the vales that it comes with are not all the same is missing a few parts to make it a triple

If i buiuld this ship i have no problem giving up 25 bbs... What your saying about the valves is that some parts are missing ?

A VV isn't a very good ship for a rookie to start off with. If you are going to build something that big, an NC will be MUCH more forgiving of mistakes in driving. Of course, a class 4 battleship or battlecruiser or a 3 unit cruiser would be even better. A VV just won't be very fun for a beginner...you'll be everyone's favorite target, not have great maneuverability, and end up getting pummeled and sunk a lot. Take it from someone who has driven a target (see the HMS Courageous in my sig), you want your first ship to be maneuverable above all else. Turning is FAR more important then speed, or even firepower. Turning is life. If you won't go with a small class 3 or 4 ship, then go with a North Carolina or a South Dakota so you can turn with the best of em. Something like the VV or Bismarck is the express route to frustration and headaches as a beginner.

basicaly what you would do with the VV is you would ask the BC crew that you want the 5unit kit and you wana change one of the 50 round bb guns to a 75. also just woundering y the change of ship i thought u had decided on the NC

:) In Big Gun combat, it's the only good ship that the AXIS made. No other axis capital ship can take on the SoDaks and Iowas on an even footing. I plan on scratchbuilding two of 'em once I graduate from college. There is also a fiberglass hull for the Littorio available at Bowning Ship Yards in Australia:

When it says the ship is armed... does it mean the ship is armed big gun style?

Those are just fiberglass hulls. Where it says "armed" it means it is allowed to carry guns. So you could build one fast gun or big gun style using those hulls.

I just finished my Littorio that I purchased from Australia, took me nine weeks to build, and she just fought at Nats in Texas, sank during the last battle on the last day. The allieds really liked her, 6.5 battle units, so alot of points if they sank her. I shot off my BB's, then did alot of running for the next 5 minutes all week long, but it was still alot of fun.
My cannons are 50 straight, 75 coil, and triple sterns.
