I don't know if I'd call that pricey, it's about what I'd expect to spend on a 1/144 model airplane at the LHS. 3d printers are handy to have, I don't think having one has saved me much money lol.

 

You will remove it for combat, or "they" will . looks pretty. Not that pricey compared to 1/144 kits.
