Yes and no. They are a good starting point but, because they are game models, the resolution is poor on certain features. Mostly its the circular features that are poorly approximated. I usually use meshlab to isolate and clean up parts from WOW models and then import then into OpenSCAD to use as size/shape reference while I re-draw the part I want.
What scale? Battler's Connection has these in 1/144th scale for $5 each. There is no point printing parts that are easily sourced.
