Sounds to me like you are closer to the MABG group, then the MAG group in Annapolis, MD. Good luck in the hobby, and if we can help in any way just ask!
AND... someone mentioned tanks! We also have a local group doing that: http://www.rctankcombat.com/ Which I am also a member of.
I'm looking at building the north carolina to start. Like the looks of it. Though not the largest it will do for a while. One thing 8m wondering is if I buy a fiberglass hull I sheet over the hull with the appropriate thickness balsa right? Need to find a good tutorial
Is that the motor used by most if not all? Just 2 indexing if people were to cut out the hull then make balsa plates to install. Then again having the balsa sheeting would be good protection for the fiberglass. Just wondering
is that the method... srry stupid phone. The other part was asking if people cut the windows the glue teh blase in teh openings. Again. Newbie tryign to get a grasp before i start my first build
Hi, I'm Giles. I've been interested in Big Guns for years, and when I arrive to Virginia Beach mid-year I plan to build one. If successful I plan to do a 1/30 of the Missouri or Tripitz. I have PDF files of both.
Hi Giles, it’s good to hear from you. When do you expect to be in the area? I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers, Mark
