Because Mikey came up with a great idea about posting hint that could be used by people that are new to the hobby and for that matter old to the hobby I decided to post some things that I have used during my time in R/C Combat.
This has been posted before but, it won't hurt to bring it up again.
    MARKING YOUR WATERLINE:
Make yourself a test basin with some plastic bags. Fill the basin up with water. Get your ship loaded up just as she would be for battle. Put Koolaid in the water and gently set the ship in the basin. Let it sit in the Koolaid for a couple of minutes. drain the basin. The Koolaid will leave a stain on the hull showing where your waterline should be.
    Hope this helps someone.
