Ahhh, whenever I see the words "debut new ship" and "NATs" in the same sentence I get goosebumps! I think the allies are gonna need more ships... Banzai! John
Heh. True Nats story ... The HMS Erin's first battle was Monday morning, first sortie, first battle of the 2010 IRCWCC Nats. The ship got a brief sea trial 4 days previously. It worked out well enough.
I am also concerned about Nats this year as it is only a 2-1 allied ship advantage this year. I hope we can make it to Thursday before the allies call for a vote.
GREAT NEWS!!! Joel Goodman returns with his USS Indiana! And to add exuberant joy to excitement, Rick King, the classic Axis captain par excellance is coming to the battle with his Graf Spee!!! What a great battle this is shaping up to be!
My attendance is currently questionable. I have left NNPTC, but the NPTU folks have no idea what to do with me. I may not know until next Monday whether I'm actually starting class or not. The good news is that if I am not classing up, I don't need a request chit to attend all three days. The bad news is that I if I don't class up, I might be working on those days, anyway.
I guess I will have to try and make it to this one. now if only I had my boat finished after having it all these years!
Bring your boat with you! Are you coming one day, or getting a hotel room and making more than one day? Tugboat's shop will be open Saturday night for boat work...
I actually currently live in Statesboro just off of HWY 80 to attend GSU not but like a half mile from your house tugboat.
I have pump guns and I think most of what is needed but I am not 100% on that I will have to double check that I go and pick it up.
