First large battle of the year in the southeast US! Lots of boats on the water, and loaners available... More info to follow, or check www.southeastattacksquadron.org for info...

Gonna be awesome. The carnage is promising to be epic with the number of captains coming.

Time off put in and approved. Yay! Now I just need to make orders to BC, Palmer's, and battery spot.

This was a conversation already between Brian (the CD) and I... we are fully expecting to be flag/no flag at the Memorial Day battle :) If we're not, I'll bring Lil Scharnie :)

reallly suggest that you'll enjoy the event much more if you get some testing on the water BEFORE the event

Well, time, work, and money/shipping time will dictate whether or not that's possible. I will have fun either way.

Looks like I have the battery issue handled, two of the 4 needed cannons are installed, and my tanks are at the house. Leaving me with regulator, solenoids, tubing, and two more cannons to procure to be ready.

As it turns out, my daughter graduates from basic training that weekend, so I will not be able to make the battle.

My parents were unable to make the rather costly trip to be at my Pass in Review. It was an experience nonetheless. Enjoy it, it only happens once.

Since I'd be bringing a DD, any campaigns planned?

None that I am aware of. I will check with the CD, as we hadn't talked about it... A number of people have convoys, but if we run straight-up 3-sortie battles, we have in the past gotten in 9 sorties in a day.
