We are both really excited about getting these two boats into the combat next season.
Vance's Republique is shorter, has less target area, and with three shafts, and a single rudder, will turn better.
My Danton is longer, and has four shafts (two will be powered), and a single rudder.
I am convinced that the Danton will be a much better boat.

I think Mikey's son driving the PE is to blame for that mutilation. To be fair, my stacks are made with a single perimeter and no fill. It's actually amazing that they have lasted this long.

I have been instructing Vance on Age of Sail tactics. In case we ever get into that format.
    On the up-roll!

Vance and I have been debating which of our two new pre-dreads will be the better boat.
Vance thinks the Republique will be the better boat for combat because it is shorter, and will turn better with the three shafts, and single rudder.
I think the Danton will be the better boat because it has more funnels.
